Mukund Kuntimad

Mukund Kuntimad is a 2D animator. From a young age, he has always been fascinated by the world of music, cinema, and storytelling. During the final year of his computer science degree at UT Dallas, Mukund was selected to attend the year-long traditional animation program, Don Bluth University, which was taught by the veteran animator himself. Afterwards, he studied at the Rochester Institute of Technology and received his MFA in Film and Animation. With experience in both the STEM world and the creative world, Mukund puts emphasis on combining the classical mediums of art and storytelling with modern innovation to craft his work. Stylistically, Mukund has drawn influence from watching the cartoons of the Golden Age of Animation and the cartoons of the late 90s and early 2000s, creating a style that is familiar, but uniquely his. Currently, Mukund continues to build his artistic portfolio, develop his existing skillset, and learn new techniques to propel him into the future of animation.
